Hamstring

The Hamstring is the powerful muscle at the back of the thigh. It is very vulnerable to tears while sprinting so it is espiecally important to stretch this muscle before playing a big game.

1)To perform the stretch properly, warm-up first to get the heart pumping and to warm the muscles up.

2)Stretch one leg out in front of you while kneeling on the other, whilst keeping the leg straight.

3)Hold onto your foot and pull it towards you. Hold for about 15 seconds then switch legs.

4)Only stretch as far as your leg goes. Stretching too hard can cause injury such as muscle sprain. Your muscles will become more flexible over time.
