Quadriceps

The quadriceps is the large muscle at the front of the thigh. The muscles help to support the joint around the knee cap. helping to stabilise and control joint movement.

Regularly exercising can help maintain the muscles and improve strength in the legs.

You will also be less prone to injury and the joints will be more stable.

1)To properly stretch this muscle group, you must stand on one leg. Now, using your hands, hold and pull your ankle up towards your bottom.

2)Lean against a wall for more balance if you are a bit wobbly. Hold this position for about 15 seconds, then repeat with your other leg.

3)Make sure to warm-up properly before stretching. This is the single most important thing to do before performing any stretching exercise.
